Group Sessions

Often having a group of women who are experiencing similar issues and working through those issues together is exactly what will help. The groups will have guided discussions, psychoeducation, homework, and be facilitated by Jenn. All group members will have an individual intake with Jenn prior to beginning any group or will be seen for individual sessions.

Monthly Telehealth Package

You are looking for services that are supportive and therapeutic but can’t make it to the office for traditional weekly sessions.  I have created a monthly based package that includes

  • 2 video check-ins (30 min per session)
  • Chat access to me on HIPAA compliant platform
  • Journal Access with writing prompts if needed

Goal Driven

We will develop your treatment plan with your goals in the first few sessions. This is what will drive sessions but are not set in stone so if life changes we can adjust accordingly.

I pull from a myriad of therapies, modalities, and research to present best practices for treatment. I am constantly looking to expand my own knowledge and skill base to pull from in order to help my clients most effectivly.

How I can Help

I specialize in working with professional women who struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, and stress management issues. Often women come in to see me because they are noticing themselves forming bad habits to cope with anxiety and stress. I use a combination of talk therapy with solution focused skill building to help you feel more in control and balanced. 

Anxiety Management

Finding ways to cope both effectively and without compromising your overall health can be tricky but not impossible. Symptom management begins with finding the areas of your life that anxiety is present. Then finding ways to eliminate or manage the symptoms depending on your lifestyle and preferences.  

Work/Life Balance

If you are like most women you have more to-dos and less time in your day. We can work on finding margin in your days and helping you take back your hours that feel lost to chaos daily.

Self-Care Planning

Did you eye roll when you read self-care? I love spas and pedicures but that is not what I am talking about here. I am talking about actually nurturing yourself so you continue to grow as a human being. I am talking about finding ways to present your best self to those you love. Taking care of yourself IS taking care of your family, community, and career. We find a way to make it work for you. 

Positive Coping Skill Building

Sometimes we find things in this world that are great at taking care of negative feelings (alcohol, food, sex, shopping…) but long-term can cause health or other negative issues. When you are ready to make different choices for yourself then we can find the skills and education you need to be successful.

Do you take insurance?

I am in network with Anthem & Humana commercial insurance. If I do not accept your insurance plan I can provide an invoice called a “Superbill” for possible reimbursement from your insurance provider. 

I do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.

Can I cancel an appointment? Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, with proper notice. Because I do not overbook my time, I ask that you give one business days’ notice when canceling an appointment. Without appropriate notice, I charge my full fee ($125) for missed appointments.

How do I pay?

Payment is due at the time of the visit. Acceptable forms of payment include debit cards, cash, credit cards. I can also accept your HSA or FSA cards.

What is your fee?

My therapy fee is $125/session, and sessions are 50 minutes long.

How often will I come?

This depends on your goals, what you can reasonably do with your other life obligations and my treatment recommendations. 

Can you help me file with my insurance for out of network benefits?

Yes, if you have private insurance that I am not in network with, I can provide you with an invoice, known as a superbill, and the codes required for you to file with your insurance, but I won’t file a claim for you. Medicaid and Medicare do not allow out of network benefits. 

Therapy Misconceptions

There are a lot of reasons why someone may delay coming into therapy.

I had a bad experience in therapy and am afraid of it happening again!

First, let me say that I am deeply sorry you had a bad experience in therapy. I would like to believe that all of my therapy counterparts are just as badass as me and interested in feedback but I know this is not the case.

I am always curious about what I can do to help alleviate any stress upon entering therapy again. I cannot take back the bad experience but I assure you that I will do everything to make this one a better one. I aim to help everyone feel comfortable, supported, and helped in their time with me.


Therapy takes forever to work

My clients on average report feeling a decrease in symptoms after the second session and many have completed their goals by the 3-4 month mark.

Therapy is super expensive

Therapy is an investment in you and your future. If my fees do not seem doable for you then there are other agencies or resources to utilize. Please make sure to look at all options before discounting therapy.

Therapist are going to judge me or tell me how to live my life

No, that sounds exhausting and I don’t have the energy for all of that. There is no room for judgment because we are focusing on you getting to where you want to be not my opinion on your life choices.

Therapy is for suicidal or sad people

Well I mean individuals who are suicidal or sad are more than welcome in therapy but therapy is set out to help a lot more people than that! The focus is on behavior, thought patterns, and action.

Therapist are stuffy or unapproachable

I can only answer this for myself but I really aim to be relatable, approachable, and down to earth. My authenticity and bluntness are characteristics that friends, family, and clients alike comment on. You will find me in leggings, cussing, and laughing if we do sessions together.
